  1. I am glad someone has taken the initiative to help new teachers. So many times, they are tossed in to do their job proficiently and the guidance is lacking. The observation and feedback will be one of the most important factors in your process. You may want to do a questionnaire, like the one in step 3, somewhere in the middle of your research time. This would provide opportunity for suggestion or concerns that the "rookies" have encountered but may not have foreseen before they got started good. You have many involved with your plan, which should make for some good collaboration. I wish you the best... Looking forward to following your plan!

  2. Thank you for your suggestion, that is a good idea. I will definitely find a way to incorporate another questionnaire at a mid point in the process.

  3. I think this is an AWESOME plan and will be very beneficial for new teachers. As a new teacher, there are so many things that can become overwhelming, but with the support you will give them throughout your action research will make all of the difference. However, I do have a question, will you be mentoring the new teachers by yourself or will you create a buddy system (maybe another teacher on the same grade-level) where they can have a mentor they can go to as well?

  4. Thank you! If there is a teacher at the grade level that is willing to mentor and also meet with CILT and myself to make sure that the input and feedback is what we are looking for, then yes that would be great. They must be willing to follow the guidelines of this research
